DEAR CHURCH FAMILY

I wanted to take a moment to share with you some exciting new events that will be taking place this year at our church.

God is blessing our ministry! Our church family is growing and our current facility is being pushed to the limits. As a result, we believe it is time to move out in bold faith and to address both our current and future facility needs. With the growth comes some wonderful opportunities and a few challenges. Since our current monthly income must be dedicated to our operating budget, we must now focus on a solution to maintain the forward momentum of our vision and mission.

So let me introduce you to The I-54 Campaign, the name we have chosen for our stewardship campaign. During a recent staff meeting, the Lord reminded us of our prophetic roots as a church. He took us to Isaiah 54:2-3, a passage that helped birth our church:

“Enlarge your house; build an addition.  Spread out your home, and spare no expense!   For you will soon be bursting at the seams.  Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.” (NLT)

I-54 is like a superhighway to the corporate destiny God has in store for us. Highways take us from where we are to where we want to be. It is also a reminder that highways always seem to be under construction!

That’s why we are asking every member of our church family to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment, over and above your regular tithes and offerings, to be given over the next three years. I’ll be sharing the exciting details of this project in a couple of weeks.

Please read the enclosed materials regarding The I-54 Campaign. This will provide you with basic information about our future path. We will also have a Vision Gathering on the first Sunday of our campaign (February 12) where more information will be shared as to what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how each member of Living Stones can participate.

These are exciting days in the life of our church.

Let’s move ahead together filled with great faith and a firm reliance upon the Lord for His full blessing

and provision.

On the Journey with you,

Pastor Ron Johnson Jr.
